Breast implants don’t last forever, they actually have a general lifespan of between ten and twenty years before they either need to be removed or replaced. There are a number of other reasons, both good and bad, for a woman to require a breast re-augmentation including altering a shape that was previously created during an enlargement, issues with the implant itself, wanting to change the size of the implant and capsular contracture (which is the technical name for an issue that can affect the breasts).
